Gold bullion buying & selling →Why sellers trust AGN
We are not a mall kiosk or a mail-in refiner. We are a local gold buyer where the whole process happens in front of you.
Tested in front of you
Every acid test and scale reading happens in front of you, never in a back room.
Cash the same visit
No holds, no cheques, no waiting period. Walk out with cash the same day.
Free evaluation
There is never a charge to find out what you have, and no obligation to sell.
No appointment needed
Walk in during business hours and be in and out in about fifteen minutes.
Ontario ID rules followed
We record valid photo ID for every purchase, as required by provincial law.
One local gold buyer
A single owner-run shop on Victoria Park Ave, not a chain with quotas.
What we buy
If it is gold, bring it. Condition does not reduce the weight of the metal, so broken, tangled and mismatched pieces are all welcome.

How it works
Three steps, usually ten to twenty minutes.
01Walk in with your gold
No appointment and no forms. Bring your items and a valid piece of government-issued photo ID, which Ontario rules require us to record for a purchase.
02Watch the test and the scale
Every piece is inspected for stamps, acid tested to confirm karat, sorted into karat groups and weighed on a scale you can see. We explain each reading as we go.
03Take cash, or take your time
You get a clear figure with any deductions named. Accept it and we pay cash on the spot, or take the number home and think it over. Nothing expires.
What to expect on your first visit
Most first-time visits take ten to twenty minutes. Here is exactly what happens when you walk in.
- 1
We greet you and look at your pieces
No forms to fill out ahead of time. Just bring your items and a valid photo ID.
- 2
We sort by karat in front of you
10k, 14k, 18k, 22k and 24k are separated so each group can be weighed fairly.
- 3
We test and weigh each group
Acid testing and a calibrated scale you can see. We explain every reading as we go.
- 4
You get a clear offer
No pressure. Take the cash, or take the number home and think it over.
What to bring
- A valid government-issued photo ID (driver's licence, passport, Ontario photo card)
- Every gold item you own, including broken or mismatched pieces
- Any paperwork you have, though it is not required
- Questions — we explain the process as we go
Tip: sort your pieces roughly by stamp before you come in. It makes the in-store conversation faster and lets you follow along more easily.

What our customers say
Reviews from people who brought their gold into the shop on Victoria Park Ave.
50 Google reviews
“This was the first time that I took in outdated gold jewellery that I no longer needed, and I had a rough idea in my mind of what I thought was their current value based on what my mother used to get when she exchanged or sold her gold in the past. What I received exceeded my expectations. Service was quick and friendly. Much appreciated!”
“Good Price”
“Really amazing offers!! Better than most jeweler places.”
“Excellent service and honest prices”
“Very knowledgeable about gold products and provide great service”
“Been here twice. I come from far away. I won’t go anywhere else. Extremely honest and great prices!”

A bright, calm shop floor — not a back room
Everything happens in front of you at 1646 Victoria Park Ave. Free parking at the door, walk-ins welcome six days a week, and no pressure to sell on the day.

Why people choose AGN
- Nothing leaves your sight. Your jewellery is never taken into a back room. Testing and weighing happen between us, in full view.
- Karat groups are sorted before weighing. Mixing 10k with 22k on one weigh-in underpays your best pieces. We separate every group first.
- Resale value is checked before scrap. We look for maker's marks, hallmarks and period construction, and tell you when a piece may be worth more than its metal.
- No pressure, no expiring offers. The evaluation is free either way. Plenty of customers come back days later, and the conversation picks up where it left off.
